Rolling Along!

Every now and then the Bible gives us a picture of what a life well lived looks like.

Proverbs 31:25–26 says: “Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.”

That verse reminds us that real beauty is not just what people see on the outside. Real beauty is found in strength of character, honor in conduct, and kindness in speech.

The woman described here is clothed with strength. That means when life gets heavy, she doesn’t collapse under the weight. She leans on God and keeps moving forward.

She is clothed with honor. She lives in such a way that her life carries dignity and respect. Not because she is trying to impress people, but because she is walking with the Lord.

And the Bible says she can rejoice in the time to come. In other words, she faces the future without fear. Why? Because a life built on faith, wisdom, and godly character always leads to blessing.

Then Proverbs says something powerful: when she speaks, she speaks with wisdom, and kindness is always present in her words.

That is a good reminder for all of us today.

Strength in how we live.

Honor in how we carry ourselves.

Wisdom in what we say.

And kindness in how we say it.

If we clothe ourselves with those things, we won’t just get through life… we’ll leave a testimony behind that points people straight to the goodness of God.
