Resurrection Living!

In John 11:25 Jesus said, “I am the resurrection, and the life.”

He didn’t say He would bring resurrection. He said He is resurrection.

He spoke those words in a cemetery, standing beside a grieving sister, with death already settled in. That matters. Because Jesus doesn’t wait for the situation to improve before He speaks hope. He speaks life right in the middle of loss.

We tend to think resurrection is only about the end of time. Heaven someday. Glory later. But Jesus made it clear, resurrection is not just a future promise; it’s a present Person.

There are things in our lives that feel buried right now. Dreams that stopped breathing. Joy that feels distant. Faith that’s been wrapped in grave clothes by disappointment. But the same voice that called Lazarus out of the tomb still speaks today.

And when Jesus speaks, death never gets the final word.

If you believe in Him, even what looks dead is not done. Even what’s been silent can live again. Even now, Jesus stands near and says, “I am the resurrection and the life.”

Hold on to that. Life is closer than you think.
