Rest!

“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him…”

Some days, life feels like it’s running a hundred miles an hour while your heart is begging for a timeout. And then Psalm 37:7 taps you on the shoulder and says, “Slow down. Breathe. Rest in the Lord.”

Rest doesn’t mean inactivity—it means trust. It means you can sit still because God is still working. It means you don’t have to force what God is already forming.

The truth is, waiting is hard. We’re wired to fix things, speed things up, and make life happen on our timetable. But God says, “Let Me handle what you can’t control. Settle your spirit. Quiet your heart. Trust My timing.”

And here’s the beautiful part: when you rest in the Lord, you’re not just stopping—you’re settling into the strongest place you can be. You’re leaning into the One who sees the whole road ahead, who’s never been late, and who’s never failed you yet.

So today, take a deep breath. Let the noise of the world fade for a moment. Sit with the Lord. Whisper a simple prayer: “Lord, I trust You with what I can’t see.”

And then wait—patiently, confidently, expectantly—because the same God who brought you this far will carry you the rest of the way.

Rest in Him. He’s got you.
