A Day Just For You!

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24 (KJV)

You know, every time I read that verse, I picture stepping outside early in the morning — while the world is still quiet — and feeling that first breath of fresh air hit my face. Before the rush, before the noise, before the worries start lining up like they always do… God whispers, “I made this one for you.”

Not yesterday. Not tomorrow. This day.

Some days come wrapped in sunshine and answered prayers. Others show up with clouds you didn’t order and burdens you didn’t expect. But the beauty of Psalm 118:24 is this: it doesn’t say “rejoice because everything is perfect.” It says “rejoice because God made the day.”

If He made it, He’s in it.

If He’s in it, you’re not alone.

And if you’re not alone, you have a reason to rejoice — even if it’s a small, quiet, “Lord, thank You for getting me up this morning.”

So whatever this day holds for you — joy or struggle, peace or pressure — choose to meet it with a heart that says, “God, I trust You. I’ll walk with You. And I’ll rejoice because You’re good, and You’re with me.”

Take a breath. Smile a little. Step forward with confidence.

This is the day the Lord made just for you — and that’s reason enough to be glad.
