Heart Giving!

2 Corinthians 9:7 — “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (KJV)

You know, this verse right here reminds me that giving isn’t just about what leaves our hand — it’s about what lives in our heart. God doesn’t want forced generosity; He wants joyful generosity. The kind that bubbles up because we remember how much He’s already given us.

Think about it — God gave His Son. Jesus gave His life. The Holy Spirit gives us power and peace every single day. So when we give — whether it’s time, love, encouragement, or resources — we’re simply echoing the heart of God.

I’ve learned that cheerful giving isn’t something you fake; it’s something you feel. It’s what happens when gratitude becomes stronger than greed and love overrules fear. You can’t outgive God — but you can reflect Him when you give with joy.

So today, don’t give out of guilt or pressure. Give because your heart’s been touched by grace. Give because you want to, not because you have to.

Because when we give like that — heaven smiles, needs are met, and the joy of the Lord starts multiplying in ways money could never measure.

That’s the kind of giving that changes the world — and it starts right where you are, with a cheerful heart. ❤️
