2 Corinthians 9:11 tells us, “Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causes through us thanksgiving to God.”

It’s wild how God works. He doesn’t just bless you so you can admire the blessing like it’s some trophy on a high shelf. He blesses you so the blessing moves. So it flows. So it lands on somebody who desperately needs to feel the heartbeat of God through the kindness of one of His kids.

When God enriches you, it’s not random. It’s intentional. He pours into you because He plans to pour through you. Somewhere in your day, there’s a person who needs a gentle word, a warm meal, a small kindness, a big encouragement, or a reminder that heaven still notices ordinary people on ordinary Tuesdays. And when you step into that moment, something powerful happens.

Paul says that generosity produces thanksgiving. That means your open hand can unlock someone else’s praise. Your willingness can stir someone else’s worship. You may never know the full story, but God does. He keeps the receipts.

So today, walk like someone God has enriched. Not because you’re perfect, but because He is faithful. Not because you have everything, but because He provides enough. Let His goodness flow through your life, and watch Him turn your obedience into someone else’s gratitude.

Be the reason somebody thanks God today.

“Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food and multiply your seed sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.” — 2 Corinthians 9:10 (KJV)

There is a beautiful truth tucked into this verse that we often miss. God does not just give you seed. He gives you more seed, and then He multiplies whatever you choose to plant.

Think about that.

God places something in your hand: a gift, a word of encouragement, a little strength, a little money, a little compassion, and He invites you to sow it. When you do, He goes to work. He turns a single seed into a whole field. He turns one act of obedience into a harvest you could never produce on your own.

I have learned this. You cannot outgive a God who multiplies.

You do not have to be rich to sow. You do not have to be strong to sow. You only have to be willing. God says, “If you will trust Me with what is in your hand, I will take care of what is in your heart.”

Here is the part I love. He does not just multiply the seed. He increases the fruits of your righteousness. That means the harvest will not just bless you. It will bless others. It will not just be physical. It will be spiritual. It will not just show up in your life. It will show up in eternity.

Whatever you are holding today: a smile, a prayer, a word, a dollar, a moment of kindness, plant it. Do not wait for perfect conditions. Do not underestimate what God can do with something small.

Because in the hands of God, small seeds become big stories.

And one simple act of generosity becomes a testimony of His goodness.

Sow it. Trust Him. And watch Him multiply it in ways only God can.

There is something powerful about the kind of giving God honors. It’s not the kind that waits for perfect circumstances… it’s the kind that simply flows. Paul reaches back to the Psalms and reminds us: God loves to work through people whose hearts are open.

Think about that—“He hath dispersed abroad.” That means God is always sowing, always scattering blessing, always reaching into the world with open hands… and the way He does it is through you and me.

And what happens when we give God our open hands? Something beautiful. Scripture says, “His righteousness remaineth for ever.” In other words—what you sow in love, in generosity, in kindness… it outlives you. It echoes in eternity. It becomes part of the story God is writing long after the moment is gone.

You may not feel like you have much. Maybe you’re tired, stretched thin, or wondering how your little offering could make any difference at all. But listen to me—God isn’t looking at the size of the gift. He’s looking at the size of your heart. And when He finds a willing heart, He multiplies it.

Your encouragement… your prayer… your time… your generosity… your smile… your faithfulness—none of it is wasted. Heaven keeps the record, and God keeps the promise.

So today, don’t close your hands. Open them. Let God use you to scatter a little hope, a little love, a little grace. Because when you pour out, He pours in… and His righteousness in you remains forever.

Keep giving. Keep trusting. Keep shining.

God is not done using you.
