Peace!

Romans 5:1 — “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

You know, there’s a kind of peace this world just can’t give and it’s the kind that settles your soul, even when life doesn’t make sense. That’s what Paul’s talking about here in Romans 5:1. He says, “being justified by faith, we have peace with God.” Not peace because everything’s perfect, but peace because we’ve been made right with the One who holds everything together.

Just think about that: you and I were once at odds with God. Our sin built a wall between us and Him. But through Jesus, that wall came crashing down. Now, instead of guilt, there’s grace. Instead of striving, there’s rest. Instead of fear, there’s fellowship.

That’s why this peace is more than a feeling, it’s a foundation. It means that when the storms of life hit, you can stand firm knowing you are forgiven, accepted, and loved beyond measure. Your peace isn’t found in your performance; it’s anchored in His promise.

So today, take a deep breath and let that truth wash over you. You don’t have to earn what’s already been given. You’ve been justified by faith. You have peace with God. Walk in it, live from it, and let that peace shape how you see the world around you.
