Holy Exchange!

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me…” — Galatians 2:20 KJV

There’s a holy exchange that takes place at the cross — my life for His, my will for His, my weakness for His strength. When Paul said, “I am crucified with Christ,” he wasn’t just talking about a one-time decision; he was describing a daily surrender. Every morning when our feet hit the floor, we decide who’s going to live that day — the old me or the new me.

Friend, when Christ lives in you, everything changes. Your past no longer defines you. Your failures no longer confine you. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead now lives and breathes through you. You’re no longer trying to be good enough — you’re walking with the One who is good enough.

So today, let this be your front-porch prayer:

“Lord, less of me and more of You. Let the life I live reflect the life You gave.”

Because the world doesn’t need to see a perfect person — it needs to see Jesus shining through an imperfect one who’s been changed by grace.

Live today like you’ve already been resurrected — because in Christ, you have.

Peace!

Romans 5:1 — “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

You know, there’s a kind of peace this world just can’t give and it’s the kind that settles your soul, even when life doesn’t make sense. That’s what Paul’s talking about here in Romans 5:1. He says, “being justified by faith, we have peace with God.” Not peace because everything’s perfect, but peace because we’ve been made right with the One who holds everything together.

Just think about that: you and I were once at odds with God. Our sin built a wall between us and Him. But through Jesus, that wall came crashing down. Now, instead of guilt, there’s grace. Instead of striving, there’s rest. Instead of fear, there’s fellowship.

That’s why this peace is more than a feeling, it’s a foundation. It means that when the storms of life hit, you can stand firm knowing you are forgiven, accepted, and loved beyond measure. Your peace isn’t found in your performance; it’s anchored in His promise.

So today, take a deep breath and let that truth wash over you. You don’t have to earn what’s already been given. You’ve been justified by faith. You have peace with God. Walk in it, live from it, and let that peace shape how you see the world around you.

Seeing The Unseen!

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” — 2 Corinthians 4:18

You ever notice how easy it is to get discouraged when all you see are the problems right in front of you? Bills, bad news, broken relationships — all the stuff that shouts loud and fills your vision. Paul reminds us in this verse that what we see isn’t all there is. The visible world is temporary, but the invisible work of God is eternal.

It’s like sitting on the front porch during a storm. The rain might be pouring, thunder rolling, but behind those clouds the sun is still shining. You just can’t see it yet. Faith lifts your eyes above the storm line. It reminds you that God is still working, still moving, still writing the story even when your page looks blank.

So today, don’t fix your gaze on what’s fading. Look higher. Look deeper. Look to the unseen — the promises of God, the hope of Heaven, the strength of the Spirit.

Because when you learn to see with eyes of faith, you’ll realize that your troubles are temporary but your testimony is eternal.
