The Lasting Word!

Isaiah 40:8 says, “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”

Now, I don’t know about you, but every time I step out on my front porch and look around, I’m reminded how quickly this world changes. One season, the grass is green and the flowers are blooming. A few months later, the grass turns brown and those flowers are nothing but memories. Life has a way of fading fast.

But here’s the good news—God’s Word doesn’t fade. It doesn’t wither. It doesn’t expire. When everything else in this world shifts and shakes, His Word stands tall and unmovable. You can build your life on it, raise your family on it, and take your last breath trusting it—because it will still be true a million years from now.

So today, when you feel like things are changing too fast or slipping through your fingers, hold on to the One thing that will never change: the eternal Word of God. Grass will wither, flowers will fade, but His Word—and the promises inside it—will outlast it all.

Stay encouraged, my friend. You’re standing on forever ground.
