Friend, let me give you a word today from Matthew 7:7 — “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”
That verse is more than a memory verse for Sunday School — it’s a promise from the very lips of Jesus. He’s telling us that God’s blessings are not locked away behind a door we can’t reach. They are available, but we’ve got to ask, we’ve got to seek, and we’ve got to knock.
Sometimes we sit back waiting for heaven to drop blessings in our lap, but Jesus is calling us to lean in with faith. Prayer is the asking. Persistence is the seeking. Boldness is the knocking. And behind it all is a Father who delights in opening doors for His children.
So don’t give up on that prayer you’ve been praying. Don’t quit seeking God’s direction when the road feels cloudy. Don’t stop knocking just because the door hasn’t swung wide yet. Keep on asking, keep on seeking, keep on knocking — because the God who loves you is listening, guiding, and ready to open the door in His perfect timing.
Today, take courage: your Father hears every whisper, sees every search, and responds to every knock.
