Brother and sister, Isaiah 26:4 says: “Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.”
Now let me encourage you—this verse isn’t just a reminder, it’s a lifeline. The world around us shifts like sand. People change. Jobs change. Even our own bodies change as we grow older. But God never changes. His strength doesn’t wear out, His mercy doesn’t expire, and His promises don’t come with an expiration date.
When Isaiah says “trust ye in the Lord for ever,” he’s inviting us to lean the full weight of our lives on the One who cannot fail. Not just today. Not just when things are good. But forever. Because forever is how long His strength lasts.
So whatever burden you’re carrying today—whether it’s worry about your family, stress at work, or the ache of something you can’t fix—set it down in His hands. You don’t have to hold it up, because He already is holding you up.
Child of God, don’t just trust Him when the sun is shining. Trust Him in the storm. Trust Him in the valley. Trust Him forever. Because in the Lord Jehovah, you’ve got everlasting strength that will never run dry.
