Stand Strong!

“But none of these things move me…” (Acts 20:24, KJV)

I was sittin’ on the porch, sippin’ coffee out of my favorite chipped mug—the one with the faded words “Finish Strong.” I watched as a storm started to roll in across the fields. The Wind picked up. Trees swayed. But that old oak out in the front yard? It didn’t flinch. It’s Been through hurricanes, ice storms, and summers so dry the ground cracked… but it’s still standin’.

And that’s what Paul was sayin’ in Acts 20:24. “None of these things move me.” Not the threats. Not the chains. Not the tears. Because his eyes were locked on the finish line. His heart was anchored in the calling. And his soul was set on the One who called him.

Sometimes life will try to shake you loose—doctor’s reports, bad news, fear, failure, regret—but child of God, you ain’t got to be moved. Because if your purpose is rooted in Christ, then no storm can steal it.

So today, plant your feet. Square your shoulders. Set your eyes on Jesus. And say it loud with your life:

“None of these things move me…”

Because I’ve got a race to run, a gospel to preach, and a Savior to glorify.

Let the wind blow. Let the storm rage.

I ain’t quittin’. I’m finishin’ strong.
