Fight The Good Fight!

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life…” – 1 Timothy 6:12 (KJV)

You ever feel like life is less a stroll through the park and more like a back-alley brawl? Paul knew what that felt like. That’s why he told young Timothy, “Fight the good fight of faith.” Not just any fight—but the good one. The one worth getting up for, worth praying through, worth staying in when everything in you wants to run.

See, faith is a fight. It ain’t for the faint of heart. Some days it feels like the enemy’s got your number and life keeps swinging. But here’s the good news: You’re not swinging alone. The same Jesus who fought death and won is standing in your corner—cheering you on, holding the towel, and telling you, “Get back up, child. We’re not done yet.”

So, you fight. Not with fists, but with faith. Not with anger, but with grace. Not for the applause of man, but for the approval of God. And while the world may say you’re losing, heaven knows—you’re laying hold of something eternal.

Don’t quit now. The bell hasn’t rung. The crown’s not handed out yet. Keep swinging. Keep standing. Keep believing. Because this fight? It’s a good one. And the reward? It’s out of this world.
