Let Your Light Shine!

You ever notice how a little light changes everything?

You walk into a dark room, stub your toe, knock something over, mumble a few words that probably weren’t in your morning devotion… But flip that light switch, and suddenly the obstacles are obvious, the path is clear, and the mood? A whole lot better.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:16,

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Friend, this world doesn’t need more spotlight seekers—it needs more light shiners. People who aren’t trying to be famous… just faithful. Folks who aren’t putting on a show… but putting off the love of Jesus.

Your kindness, your consistency, your quiet strength—that’s your light. And when you shine it, even in the smallest way, it makes heaven visible in the darkest places.

You don’t have to be loud. You just have to be lit.

Not with ego. Not with anger. But with the grace and goodness of God.

So today, strike the match of mercy. Flip the switch of faithfulness. And shine on—not so people say how great you are, but so they see how great our God is.

Because when your light points to Jesus, even your ordinary becomes holy.

Shine on, my friend. Somebody’s watching… and they need to see Him in you.
