Now listen, friend—Acts 4:12 says, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” That’s plain talk from Peter, and sometimes plain talk is exactly what we need.
Now, I’ve tried all sorts of names in my life. I’ve called on doctors when I was sick, mechanics when my car wouldn’t crank, and once, even hollered at a weatherman when it rained on my vacation. But none of those names could save my soul.
There’s only one name that can do that—and His name is Jesus.
See, religion might give you a set of rules. The world’ll hand you a to-do list. But Jesus? He offers a relationship. He offers rescue. And that kind of saving doesn’t come in a box or with an instruction manual—it comes wrapped in grace and nailed to a cross.
You can’t climb your way to Heaven, but you can fall right into grace. If Jesus can save a sinner like me, there’s hope for the whole doggone world.
So today, if you’re lookin’ for peace, purpose, or just a reason to get out of bed in the morning—remember this: there’s still power in the name of Jesus. And that name is enough.
