Endless Bread!

Folks, let me tell you about John 6:35, where Jesus says, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” Now, I don’t know about you, but where I come from, bread is the centerpiece of any good meal. Whether it’s Grandma’s homemade biscuits, a fresh loaf from the corner bakery or those yeas rolls from Texas Roadhouse, there’s just something about bread that fills you up and makes life a little better.

But here’s the thing—every loaf runs out. No matter how good it is, you eventually find yourself reaching for another slice. That’s the story of life, isn’t it? We chase after things—success, money, relationships—thinking they’ll satisfy us, but they’re just like that loaf of bread. Good for a while, but eventually, they’re gone, and we’re left hungry again.

Then along comes Jesus, saying, “I am the bread of life.” He’s not talking about a temporary fix. He’s offering something eternal, something that fills not just your belly but your soul. When you come to Him, you’re not left wondering, “Is this all there is?” He satisfies that deep-down longing for purpose, for peace, for love that never fades.

So, if you’re tired of chasing crumbs in this world, come to the table Jesus has set. You’ll find the kind of nourishment that doesn’t just get you through the day—it gets you through eternity. And the best part? His bread never runs out.
