Where are you? Right now – in your life – think about it – where are you? Are you where you want to be? Are you doing the things that you want to do? Are you accomplishing things that fulfill and challenge you? Wherever you are right now – it is where God wants you to be! And God is willing to use where you are to get you to where you are going!
Your “right now place” generates one of three ultimate emotions: You are either happy about where you are, sad about where you are or you are indifferent about where you are. If you are happy, then build on that happiness and go to the new place that God has for you! If you are sad, then realize that you don’t have to stay that way. You are a child of the King! Get up and do something about your unhappiness and move to the new place that God has for you. If you are indifferent, then it means that you have moved to the place that you don’t really care. Start caring! You need to care! What is God speaking into your heart and life? What is He saying about where He wants to take you? What is He saying about what He wants to do to and through you?
God has a plan and you are where you are right now because God has you on your way to somewhere to do some really special thing. Get excited about where you are knowing that this place can be the launching pad for an even greater place as your grow in your relationship with Him! Where are you? Right where God wants you to be, now where are you going?
When I read this I thought about 3 references to in scripture about change. Several that refers to us as clay (Isaiah 29:16, 64:8; Jer. 18:6 and Rom 12:18. Probably more)) that is being molded and shaped by the Potter. The 2nd how we are “refined” like silver (Isaiah 48:10; Sech 13:9 and Mal. 3:3) and then, about to every thing there is a season (tons! Psalms 1:3 Jon 5:35; Acts 1:7; 1 Peter1:6, etc).
Where am I? Well according to scripture, constantly changing, being molded and refined and hopefully accepting the season that I am in now and working toward the “prize”(Phil 3:14).
I must say, that since I turned 40 and my oldest has become engaged and other stuff, I began to feel like my time had passed to be effective in the Kingdom. But, In our Esther study, Beth Moore says, “Who are we to decide we are too old for God to use!!!” Keep growing in grace, beauty and wisdom. Be a willing vessel, imperfect for now, but being perfected and still useful.
God is so awesome. Being his servant is the most fulfilling experience for me. Keeping my eye on the Prize and not the crow’s feet! =)
Hope this makes sense! It’s just on my heart this morning!
Love to all,
T. =)
