My Line In The Sand!

I am a follower of Jesus Christ!  Jesus is my Savior and my friend!  I am not interested in the status-quo!  I have been there, done that and been left looking for something more!

I am a pastor because that is what and who God has called and gifted me to be!  I am passionate about my relationship with and service to God!  I want desperately to help hurting people to find real healing that can change their lives for the better!  I want my faith to be alive, vibrant, activated and on purpose!

I will not allow myself or God’s Kingdom to be limited by “what is”, because my inspirations from God flows from “what could be”!  I make the choice in this moment of time to pursue His will and His agenda for His glory and His Kingdom growth!  My life belongs to Him – May He use it as He sees fit!

  1. Hi Michael
It is good that you have drawn the line in the sand because as Christians that is what we all must do.
Jesus said if you are not for me then you are against me. With him, there is no middle ground.
The enemy can see that line and will try to get you to cross it. The only power to stand firm in the place God has put you is to cover yourself with the armor of his word. Our battle cry in this life should be for the kingdom of Christ with no compromise! It is the only way to victory.

    God bless your ministry.

  2. Hello Pastor,
Thank you for not giving up on me as my Pastor, my brother and as my friend. Your love means more to me and my family than I can express. I feel as though you’ve had my back from the first time I met you over six years ago, what more can I say. Well, as far as your last entry goes, I’m right there with you. I have tried to live with the belief; if you always do what you’ve always done-you’ll always get what you’ve always got. If you want your life to change you’ve got to change your life, or at least how you live it, or it stays the same. Change has been the most consistent occurrence in my life, many times a day. Most of the changes were not made by my choice. I know without a doubt every change in my life has God’s hand in it. I have so many gifts, talents and blessings that He has given to me I have no choice but to change. For me to move through my life and not hear and obey the Holly Spirit would be for me to, by choice, cheapen His gifts to that of just a passing thought. My prayer is, “change me oh God, that Your will is done in my life and in the lives of those my path will cross. Please hear me oh God that Your Righteousness will show bright through my weak soul, Amen.” Pastor, I am a tool of God’s will, and by being that for Him I feel that it makes me a tool for you as well. You are God’s man for me, my family and all who will listen to the Spirit through you. I’m not following a man, I’m following the man that God is using to change me and those around me, very much like a coach. We all can live in God’s will individually, however, we will do so much more and be so much more effective as a team. You’re the head coach of our Northwood team, put me in coach….put me in, I CAN’T SIT ON THE BEENCH ANY MORE!

    Your brother in Christ,

    Phillip

  4. I’m looking froward to it. Wed. and Thur. each week seem to be the lunch times that are mostly open. You’re a really busy person, so what your schedule is will be when we can. Just give me a call or e-mail the day before. Please continue being who God has made you, there’s alot of us out here who really need that. See ya tonight.
