I am honored to be called by God to serve as a pastor of His church! I have always tried to work hard to honor God and give Him glory, while building His church and encouraging His people. I have tried and failed to live a life worthy of the calling that God has given me. (Ephesians 4:1) Some days I seem to really get it right and then some days I seem to really mess it up. I don’t want to think that I have arrived, because the truth is: the closer I get to God the more I realize just how much more room for growth there is in my life. I also don’t want to get discouraged and give up, because if God has called me, He has also given me the ability. So, I recommit myself to the calling that God has placed upon my life and will do everything that I can to live a life worthy of that calling!

My Dear Brother,
We all who serve Our Lord in any fashion often feel the same way and… why?…well, methinks it is because we are human and it takes us so long to accept Him at His Word and “let go and let God”
have “all of me.” It really is difficult to understand that God’s LOVE can NOT be understood in our “earthly limitations” but if we can grasp that love…WOW “He saw my faults and met my needs.” Just keep walking the walk my dear brother and I’m so glad that you are. Alton
